The fine turf industry is renowned for its desire to look after those who work within it and nowhere is this demonstrated more amply than with BIGGA’s Golden and Silver Key programme where the industry supports the learning and development of golf greenkeepers.

The funding provided by Golden and Silver Key Supporters means BIGGA can produce training and career DVD’s and CD Roms; field guides, refunding of fees and subsidised learning and development courses.

There are countless young greenkeepers who owe their careers to the assistance they’ve had from the Learning and Development Fund and an equal number of established greenkeepers who have been able to top up their skills thanks to the help Golden and Silver Key Sponsors have given to the industry.

Individual Gold and Silver Key Membership

Individuals who would like to contribute to the Learning & Development Fund will receive:

• Acknowledgement of their contribution within the Learning & Development page in each monthly copy of Greenkeeper International magazine

• Invitation to a presentation: an annual presentation and lunch at BIGGA House in April. An update will be given to the Sponsors on the educational opportunities created by the fund during the year. Plans for the following year’s spending will also be revealed.

Listed below are the benefits to be enjoyed as one of the elite Gold Key Sponsors:
