Assistant Greenkeeper (Langley park golf club)

An excellent opportunity has arisen at Langley park golf club in Beckenham, Kent for a committed and enthusiastic Greenkeeper to join our existing team of 8.

The J H Taylor course was designed in 1910, it is a parkland course which prides itself on its great condition and being a real test of Golf.

The successful candidate will report to the Course manager and Deputy course manager in maintaining the golf course to the standards the members expect. All work on the golf course is achieved in line with the clubs polices and goals. The clubs investment in the course and the machinery is to match the effort and success out on the golf course.

• Full time position (40 hours per week)
• Weekend rota basis paid as overtime
• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays

• 2 years Greenkeeping experience
• NVQ level 2 in sports turf (desirable not essential)
• PA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certificates (desirable not essential)
• Competence with operation and maintenance of golf course machinery
• Good communication and time keeping
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
