Bingley St. Ives Golf Club was formed in 1931, with the original layout designed by the renowned course architect, Dr Alistair McKenzie. The course is laid out in a single loop formation which leaves the clubhouse to move through parkland, woodland and moorland, Providing an interesting and varied challenge to golfers of all standards. The genius of McKenzie and the beauty of nature have combined to produce a golf course which ranks alongside any other in the region and is enjoyed by the 650 members and many annual visitors alike.
Salary: Negotiable – subject to experience.

Grass cutting and mowing – tees, fairways, rough and greens. The club has invested heavily in grass cutting machinery in the last 12 months

Bunker maintenance

Heather and woodland management

Ad hoc projects i.e. drainage, bunker and tee rebuilding etc

2-3 years minimum experience in all aspects of grass cutting

The ability to work as part of a team and individually

Previously worked within a team of greenkeepers and able to demonstrate their contribution to the upkeep of a golf course

A good understanding of grass cutting machinery

A flexible approach to work, work hours and weekend duties
-
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
-
PA1, PA2, PA6A would be advantageous but not essential

Good time management skills, and an enthusiastic and positive attitude to work
