Ely City Golf Course is a Par 72, 6537 yards Henry Cotton designed parkland course located on the outskirts of the Ely City. Opened in 1962, and extended to 18 holes in 1973, the course provides a true test for golfers of all abilities. The course has been consistently rated in the top 5 courses in Cambridgeshire. We are in the process of increasing the reputation of the Ely City Golf Club by improved presentation, refurbishment of tees, bunkers, installation of drainage, new irrigation system and welfare facility for the green staff.We are looking to appoint a candidate who is looking for a rewarding role as an Assistant Greenkeeper. The successful candidate will need to be focused and driven. Reporting to our Course Manager.
Salary: £28,500 per annum

Practical greenkeeping skills / NVQ level 2

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Greenkeeper

Punctuality

Driving Licence

Play Golf to a reasonable standard

PA1, 2 and 6 spraying certificates
