Lingdale Golf Club is a private members Golf Club set in the picturesque Charnwood Forest area of North West Leicestershire. The Club regularly hosts prestigious county, midland and national competition.

We are currently searching for an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our enthusiastic team led by our experienced and highly regarded Head Greenkeeper and help us to further improve the golf course as we seek to achieve and maintain the highest standards throughout 2025 and beyond.

The position is a forty hour per week position plus one weekend in four on a rotation basis which is paid at overtime rate, however flexibility is essential particularly during the summer months as the Golf Club prepare for the key events within the Club’s busy diary.

Requirements:

An enthusiastic, motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work to the highest standard with a keen attention to detail
Commitment and desire to achieve and exceed the standards expected by the Golf Club
Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team or motivation to work effectively unsupervised
Good time management and communication skills
Must be self-motivated and professional in attitude, appearance and actions

Qualifications:

Previous experience of working in greenkeeping at a Golf Club
NVQ Level 2 Sport Turf Management or equivalent
Spraying certificates and Chainsaw qualifications are desirable but not essential
Full valid driving license required
