Lindrick Golf Club - Course Manager

About Lindrick

Lindrick Golf Club, located near Worksop in South Yorkshire, is renowned as one of England’s finest inland courses with a reputation for excellence on and off the course. Our course is rich in history and is consistently recognised among the top 100 courses in England.

Lindrick gained international recognition in 1957 when it hosted the Ryder Cup followed by the Curtis Cup in 1960 and has continued to host many other top professional and amateur events since. Lindrick will once again be hosting Regional Qualifying for the Open Championship from 2025 and is guaranteed to do so for a minimum of the next four years.

Lindrick is a heathland golf course with a magnesium limestone base situated on Lindrick Common. We work closely with the R&A agronomists to prioritise minimal chemical and water inputs as well as the introduction of native grass species, as an ongoing commitment to the Golf Course 2030 objectives. The club are currently undergoing a programme to return the course to its original heathland condition.
