Ardfin is located on the beautiful Isle of Jura off the west coast of Scotland.
We are looking for someone with passion, drive and commitment to join our team of dedicated greenkeepers and maintain a golf course ranked in the Top 100 courses in the world, currently No 70 www.top100golfcourses.com. Ardfin has no membership, our golf season runs from May to October, we are closed for play outside these months.
Duties include:
- Working closely with the Course Superintendent you will be required to motivate, direct, and train all staff to ensure the highest possible standards are achieved daily
- Working alongside and leading our team of 6 plus mechanic and 4 seasonal staff
- You will assume responsibility for our 19-hole championship course, two 9-hole Par 3 courses, practice range, hotel grounds and Jura house lawns in the absence of the Course Superintendent
Qualifications and experience:

Minimum 3 years in a managerial position

Qualified to at least Level 3 in sports turf management

Pa1, Pa2 and Pa6 spraying certificates

Proficient in irrigation maintenance

Chainsaw certificate (desirable)

People training
