Deputy Head Greenkeeper
Shiskine Golf and Tennis Club is a friendly and welcoming 12 hole links golf course with a membership of over 700, located on the beautiful Isle of Arran on the West Coast of Scotland.
We are currently seeking to employ an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Head Greenkeeper to join our team.
The team is serviced by a modern fleet of machinery. You would be expected to play a full and active part in all course operations, projects and maintenance programmes.
The successful applicant will be part of a small and progressive team, blending both modern and traditional greenkeeping tools and methodologies.
This is a full time contract based on an average 40 hours per week, including some weekend working.

Reporting to the Head Greenkeeper, the role’s main responsibilities will be as follows:

To assist in the daily course maintenance and presentation of the course to the highest standards

Operate and assist in the maintenance of the greenkeeping machinery and equipment
-
Carry out all operations in line with the Club’s environmental policies, operational safe systems of work and Health and Safety Policies

Ensure a safe, clean and productive work environment at all times
