POSITION: GREENKEEPER
Castletown Golf Links in the Isle of Man has a vacancy available immediately for a qualified, highly motivated, energetic, responsible and practical team player to join our greenkeeping team.
Castletown Golf Links is a private, family-owned and operated Links designed by Old Tom Morris in 1892 and later updated by Philip Mackenzie Ross following the 2nd World War. Castletown is located on its own peninsula surrounded by the sea on all sides. Our position within course rankings in recent years has improved markedly and we seek further progress. We were recently rated within the top 10 most spectacular golf courses in the British Isles and within the UK & Ireland’s Top 100 golf courses.

Ongoing course and practice facility design improvements

Implementation of a new full course irrigation system

Continual development of daily processes to maximise ecological benefit of the golf links within a unique peninsula location and ‘Area of Special Scientific Interest’ (ASSI)

NVQ level 2-3 qualification or equivalent

Relevant experience in a links golf environment

PA 1,2 & 6 certified
This is a full-time contract and includes working weekends on a rota basis.
Salary: Dependent on skills and experience: £26 600 - £29 000.
