Technical Sales Executive (Amenity)

 

 

 

GBR Technology Limited are a supplier of high-quality wetting agents and nutrients into the sports amenity turf sector, supplying golf courses and other sports venues. We have been trading for 39 years and are enjoying a period of good growth. Our amenity activities started around 15 years ago and this is run alongside our highly successful lubricant sales.

 

Due to a current member of staff retiring, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our sales team and develop their skills and career in a technical sales setting. You will have a strong interest in a career in sales and business development in the sports and amenity turf sector and be able to pick up the technical aspects of the products being sold.

 

You will be confident, organised and trustworthy and you will possess the drive to overcome obstacles and generate business success. You will enjoy meeting and interacting with people and be confident on the phone, able to generate appointments and to be a good communicator.

 

You will be able to negotiate and close deals and be able to get across the benefits of the products being sold, matching products to customers needs.

 

You may currently be in the industry in sales or in a greenkeeping or grounds care role and looking to move into sales. There will be on the job training. You will join a supportive team of eight other sales staff and further support staff and will have your own unique position within the team.

 

You will have a sales patch in South and Western Scotland and Northern England and will need to reside within this area.

 

The job comes with a good salary that will develop further with experience, and there will be bonus elements within the package. A company car will also be provided.
