We are now recruiting a Trials and Showcase Turf Manager to oversee our amenity demonstration and trial sites near Worcester.

Manage the trial plots at our Inkberrow site, including the maintenance of various sports turf demonstration areas

Showcase and promote our trials site and products to customers, industry professionals and other key stakeholders

Explain the technical aspect of trials

Design, implement, and manage turf trials, focusing on the assessment of new seed varieties and amenity products

Score and assess trial materials with a focus on product development for pre-STRI listing

Work with internal teams, including R&D, sales, and marketing, to provide feedback and support product launches

Ensure the site complies with all relevant health and safety regulations

Proven experience of turf management

The ability to maintain the trials plots to a high standard

The expertise and confidence to demonstrate our operation and products to visitors and explain the technical details

Strong communication, planning and organisation skills

A methodical approach with good attention to detail

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Sports Turf Management, Agriculture or Horticulture

Full driving licence

Good IT skills
Previous experience as a greenkeeper / grounds manager or experience of seed trials would be advantageous, as would a BASIS qualification.
