Delivered as part of Golf Course 2030, this class will provide practical and effective perspectives to work on sustainability at your course. The class is delivered as a game‑based learning activity, where attendees take part and discuss key sustainability topics for golf courses – energy, waste, water and materials. You will leave with a clear action plan to contribute to a more sustainable future for your course, and tools for where to start.

  • Knowledge regarding European standards for ESG reporting
  • Knowledge regarding golf’s impact upon the three sustainable bottom lines
  • A sustainable framework to map current and sustainable initiatives in your golf club

Project Manager - Golf Course 2030

John Kemp has worked in the golf industry for 18 years and holds a BA in Golf Management, a Professional Diploma for the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, CMDip from Club Managers Association of Europe and is an R&A Greenkeeping Scholar.

As Project Manager - Golf Course 2030 at The R&A he is responsible for leading the industry to develop practical solutions to the key sustainability priorities for golf courses globally.
