The Jazzy Golfer returns to BTME
One of UK golf’s most popular social media personalities is returning to BTME in 2024.
The Jazzy Golfer has been revealed as the host of the BIGGA Celebration sponsored by Jacobsen, taking place on the opening evening of the event.
Presenter of Living Golf for CNN International and social media personality Jasmine first made the trip to Harrogate in January 2023, making a huge splash by hosting the welcome event and sampling the exhibition halls to get a sense of what goes on behind the scenes at golf clubs everywhere.
Jasmine launched ‘The Jazzy Golfer’ social media channels in 2017 with a commitment to getting more women and juniors playing golf, to document her golfing journey and to promote the fun side of the game. In 2022, she launched the UK Women’s Golf Community (UK WGC). The 6,000 strong community provides an online space for women to embrace their passion for golf, get advice from their fellow golfers, celebrate successes and importantly, find other women in their local areas to play golf with. This online community is complemented by regular range meetups at the 15 Hubs where women can meet other women in their local areas and whack some balls in a fun, friendly and supportive environment
Since visiting BTME last January, Jasmine has renewed her contract to host CNN International’s Living Golf, she’s travelled the world reporting upon professional events including the Ryder Cup and she’s also become a world champion in powerlifting!
The BIGGA Celebration with Jacobsen takes place on the opening evening of BTME and is a free-to-attend welcome event that celebrates the achievements of BIGGA members from throughout 2023. The evening is an opportunity to reflect upon everything that’s good about the greenkeeping industry, which is key to growing a thriving sport for years to come.
On the evening BIGGA will reveal the winners of the BIGGA Awards as well as recognising the achievements of other BIGGA members throughout the previous year.
